A line runs through the city center and connects the east and west sides of the city through 15 stations: My Dinh, Nguyen Hoang, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, Tran Duy Hung, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Huynh Thuc Khang, Thai Ha, Chua Boc , Pham Ngoc Thach, Dai Co Viet, Tran Khac Chan, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Aeon Mall Long Bien, Co Linh and Ocean Park urban areas.
Another line will start operation on December 10th, at My Dinh Bus Station, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, Nguyen Trai, Truong Chinh, Dai La, Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Aeon Mall Long Bien, Co Linh and Ocean The park stops in the urban area.
The third line will be opened in 10 days, stopping at Long Bien, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Thuy Khue, Dao Tan, Cau Giay, Xuan Thuy, Pham Hung, Thang Long Highway and Smart City.
There will be 48 electric buses on the line every 15 to 20 minutes between 5 am and 9 pm. The fare is between 7,000-9,000 VND (31-40 US cents), and the monthly pass is between 55,000-200,000 VND. Groups such as the elderly, the disabled and children under the age of six will be allowed to travel for free.
Hanoi currently has 140 bus lines with more than 208,000 vehicles. The capital’s goal is to allow 5-20% of buses to end up using clean fuels, such as electricity.
